A two-decades career veteran, Miguel joined the Industrial Cybersecurity Center (CCI) in late 2014 as VP, Corporate Governance & Strategy, to bring the “cyber” message to the Industrial Sector’s directors and officers.
Miguel’s first job was in the Steel Industry as Head of MES & HMI at an engineering firm located in the North of Spain, where he soon became CIO. This let him know, first hand, the problems bound to Information/Operational Technology integration. He has also been a consultant, auditor, lecturer and popularizer for more than fifteen years, in management consultancy firms, universities and forums from which he has helped other executives to fulfill their obligations regarding technology, within their organizations.
In this session the results of a CCI report on European Industrial Cybersecurity Regulatory Landscape, augmented with an analysis of other key .gov efforts outside of Europe, will be presented for the first time.
