Randy Armstrong

Security Architect

Randy is the one of the architects of the OPC UA specification, a Principal Software and Security Architect for the OPC Foundation, and the chair of the OPC UA Security Working Group.

He has 28 years’ of experience working with various types of distributed systems used in industrial automation. Randy has been an active contributor to OPC specifications for the last 15 years and has developed numerous OPC based solutions for different industrial automation companies.

Randy is also the Chief Security Architect with Sparhawk Software, a company that provides design, development and training around OPC UA.
