Todd Walter

Chief Marketing Manager

Todd Walter is a chief marketing manager at National Instruments in Austin, Texas. His team is responsible for emerging technologies and lead customers. They focus on areas including renewable energy, grid tied power inverters, high performance manufacturing machines, communications, advanced sensing, machine learning, and smart grid technology.

Todd has participated in the IEEE 802.1 Working Group focused on Time Sensitive Networking and is currently serving on the board of directors for the Avnu Alliance.  He is leading the activities for the IIC Testbed on TSN for Flexible Manufacturing which is physically hosted at the NI campus. He is also active in OPC Foundation where he is chair of the TSN sub-group. His other positions at National Instruments have included Group Manager for Industrial Measurement and Control, Product Marketing Manager and Applications Engineer.

Walter holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech.
